The 2026 South Australian state election is scheduled for Saturday, 28 March 2026, under the state's fixed four-year term legislation. This election will determine the members of the 56th Parliament of South Australia, comprising 47 seats in the House of Assembly and 11 of the 22 seats in the Legislative Council.

Electoral System
South Australia uses optional preferential voting for the House of Assembly (lower house) and proportional representation (Single Transferable Vote) for the Legislative Council (upper house).
